Clearly you came here hoping for helpful advice - which it appears some people don't have time for and would rather throw stones.
Some of the posts were spot on - a ball python is a wild animal and will never be tamed like a dog. Dogs still bite people.
It is recognizing you as causing pain when you pick it up because you are giving it the injections. Wear some gloves - leather preferably - while you pick it up for a while. Once the course of antibiotics are over it will steadily become less scared and will be more friendly. It is going to take time. My lesser male did the same thing and now - 6 months later - he is puppy dog tame. Give it time.
The other thing is to make sure it has the proper environment with a hot spot at 90 degrees so it doesn't get sick again so that you don't have to repeat this.
Hope this helps.
