there is actually no such thing....
just to clarify....the first swelling is creating follicles...itty bitty cell sized follicles....the second swelling along with the glow...is ovulation....chicken egg and bigger sized ovum that drop from the ovaries at this time,,,pick up sperm and become fertile, then line up all in nice rows in the oviducts...where they continue to grow for about 30 more days....whereas they are then deposited on the cage floor...no matter how much cool bedding you gave them.,...then afterwards...we find them and yell....wheeeeeeeee.....then put them into an incubator...which freaks out the females and makes them cry like babies for a week or more of lonliness and heartbreak.....
or ot make it simpler...
yes...that is the glow again....30 days....!!! Yea....
