I got one from a local pet store. That is the male.

the other I got from Reptayls. it is a red female is a fresh bloodstrain here in the mainland.



I put them together earlier to see what would happen.



The male saw her and immediately turned the greenest he ever has. Started jerking his head alot and bobbing it..not smoothly though...almost loooked robotic.



He wasted NO time walking over to her. she saw him..gaped..and then started to walk away. she darkened up. I let it continue for a moment to see what she would do next..She started to walk away from him, but he started grabbing her by the tail and holding on as she dragged him around. then she turned around and used her "hand" to hold him back..thats when I broke it up.



She did not sway back and forth at all and gaped only once. Im not sure if she was ready or not. I dont want to stress her - so I put her back in her cage..turned on her dripper and threw in some food.



How do you know if she is not old enough. being an import we are not sure of her age.



She does eat about twice as much as the male. I have never seen her turn down food. So now I wonder if she may be gravid from before...



I still lightly suppliment their foods once every 10 days.
