Is it true they are hungry when they start roaming around and trying to get out like that? I feed her once a week on a med size rat the size of her mid-section. Since she is under a year, I have read she should be eating like this. Now I read today about pin-head BPs. My ball pythons head is smaller than her body-am I over feeding her? I am really trying to do a good job here. I have never had a snake and I am 40. My 12yr old wanted a snake last yr so I bought him one on Craig's List for $65. The med rats I buy cost $4 at the local pet store. I was going to raise rats but decided against that. I was not aware how much they multiply. YUCK!!! I had a male and female rat for a few months and that was ENOUGH! No more of that. I am sure you will get a chuckle from this but I have always thought snakes were cool and wanted one. Guess I am going through a mid-life crisis because now I want more snakes! | ||
