I see Lady Predator climbing around at night on her ropes and I figured the aquarium I had was too small since she is always trying to get out through the top screen. Is it true they are hungry when they start roaming around and trying to get out like that? I feed her once a week on a med size rat the size of her mid-section. Since she is under a year, I have read she should be eating like this. Now I read today about pin-head BPs. My ball pythons head is smaller than her body-am I over feeding her? I am really trying to do a good job here. I have never had a snake and I am 40. My 12yr old wanted a snake last yr so I bought him one on Craig's List for $65. The med rats I buy cost $4 at the local pet store. I was going to raise rats but decided against that. I was not aware how much they multiply. YUCK!!! I had a male and female rat for a few months and that was ENOUGH! No more of that. I am sure you will get a chuckle from this but I have always thought snakes were cool and wanted one. Guess I am going through a mid-life crisis because now I want more snakes!
