A friend of mine recently got a ball python who looks to be in between 2-3 years, and she was told it was a female. When she asked me to sex it for her, I noticed that it had a slight bulge that went down about 6 scales past the cloaca, which leads to believe this might be a hemipenal pocket but I really don't know. After many attempts of popping, I was unable to get any results(I know how to sex so I was doing it right) Any help? I included a picture but it was taken by my ipod because I can't locate my camera.
