yearling wont eat going on 2 months

i have a yearling ball python hasn't eaten since i got him and by the looks of it has been long then what i was told when i got do i see about assist feeding or taking to the vet to get force fed just want opinions on whether i should just continue to wait or if i should begin taking action.
