Nice gophers!

The standard answer seems to be three years of age and at least three feet long. What sub species would matter; i.e. whether your snake is a bull or a Sonoran or a Pacific, and so forth, as they all max out at different sizes.

My female bull laid her first clutch at age two and a little over three feet and produced 5 nice babies. That was a surprise clutch, as I didn't think they would mate at such a young age. Teenagers! LOL! This year she's considerably bigger, over four feet in length, and again gravid.
