I don't frequent this forum so this may be old knowledge to many of you...
I collected a male last Oct. and brumated him mid-Nov. He refused to feed prior to brumation. Upon warm-up in late March he continued to refuse to eat any offerings though he did push a toad scented fuzzy mouse around the cage.

I was about to make a trip back to release him and on a whim last night I cut off the leg of a thawed chick and he ate it! So today I pasted some chick down on a hopper mouse and he pounded that too! I'm used to chick scenting for my large group of Boiga but this was a pleasant surprise! Like I said this may be old news to a lot of you but wanted to share it anyhow.
