And unfortunately for Mike from the work done by he and Robert Seib trying to produce ghosts it appears the Seib line Anery is not a true recessive trait. Out of 80 total babies in four litters from "double Het x double het" pairings not one single visual anery was produced. There were 20 Hypos and the two babies that look like what we thought a ghost would look like. The rest were all normal looking babies.
To date nobody has produced Sharp line Anery Ghosts. There are at least two litters of DH's out there that I know of. One by Ken Ketsuwan in 2009 and one I produced in 2010. Ken may be on track to produce Ghosts this year.
