The bellies are nearly solid black, with slight hints of grey. As for the incubation, they were incubated well, so I think the eggs that did not survive may have been infertile. We've heard that a clutch of 20 eggs is kind of high, so I imagine that some of the eggs weren't fertile since this was the first clutch of the season. [ Hide Replies ]
