I know one thing for sure... I like it!

This Sharp Sunglow male:

Was bred with this VPI Sharp Albino, produced from a pair of Pastel Dream Het Sharp Hets. She is a Pastel Dream Sharp Albino female:

This is the Mom about a month before the babies were born:

And together they made some crazy lavender leaning Sharp Albinos and Sunglows:

The day they were born they just looked like really orange Sharp Albinos to me:

Then they shed. Wow is all I can say”!

Here is one alongside a normal Albino for a color comparison.

A few days later and the color is even more extreme:

Lavender is a new color for me to be dealing with... I know I like it! A lot!

The Sharp Sunglow father was produced by Dan Brown using a Sharp Sunglow male that was born in the Boa Basement. (Orange Tail Hypo) The mother was an incredible strongly red influenced Het Sharp that I had tried in vain to get from Darren Brasher back in about 2005. This was the most strongly influenced reddish Het Sharp I had ever seen. In fact, to date I have only seen one better and she was produced by Anthony of Ant Green Tea Fame using a Monster Tail that I produced for him. Dan Brown offered Darren more for that het and he ended up with her. Somehow, the combination of those two animals made the father Sharp Sunglow at the head of this post. I was fortunate to produce using him here June 6th. I figured breeding this incredible male to the best Sharp female I owned couldn’t be a bad idea and it turns out I was right.

I look forward to raising most all these kiddies and watching them reach and perhaps surpass the beauty of their father! I did not really know what to call these kids, but given the fact that at least part of what they are can be ultimately attributed back to my original Pastel Dream animals which Doug obtained from me many years ago, I am going to go with Pastel Dream Lavender Sharp Boas. I have big plans for these beauties. Stay tuned.
