Ok, so I wrote up this beautiful long post with pics and descriptions but photobucket froze and deleted my 99% completed post.

So, pardon my haste in events as it is 3am and I have to be up for work in 3hrs.

Ok, so long story short I went to the SD reptile show yesterday and today and was amazed at all the excellent animals available and great people. I went for a male for my T Motley female but deviated a bit.

I had my mind set on a blood boa, leopard, etc but ran into issues. One guy was SUPER friendly but only had a female hypo blood and not what my mind was set on.

Another guy had bloods but was not a people person apparently bc he woudl sit there and talk to his buddy and not get out of his chair after you standing there for a few monutes staring at him. Once you made your presence known firmly, he would get up and continue talking. Once you got his attention ( this happened more than once with myself and heard it from others) he stated the old car lot technique of "I have a guy that wanted all 3 but if you want one I can pull one out before he comes back with the money." He was also OVER PRICED on EVERYTHING!

I then saw some nice moonglows but that was drifting from what I wanted for now as I can getting more in depth later.

So I cancelled the whole blood and leopard thing and went for very clean sunglows which was next on my list. Jerk guy had some but wanted my first born child once he got around to acknowledging your presense.

Another guy had '10 sunglows but out of the lot and batch all of them were either freckled heavily, dull, etc. and the guy would not negotiate when cash deals were ready. He wouldn't drop $20 as this is a show and some people will know a somewhat decent animal versus a crisp one.

I took a pass and decided to go with a visual rather than a "poss" and work from there.

So, I decided to go with a very friendly down to earth guy who was VERY negotiable and didnt mind spending a few minutes on a serious customer which I versed my opinions to him after the sale. It wasn't what I was after but I was bound to get something and turns out will go ahead an work with.

My questions to you my friends is how they rate (honestly, my feeling won't be hurt as their mine now and here to stay) and a nice male to purchase now that I have time to pick and choose:

My female CA T Motely; how is she turing out over the last appx yr or so and what do you think a nice visual cross would be as I was thinking maybe a male T Sunglow...

Before:

After:

The female albino motley I purchased today….

How do you rate it with 10 being highest (be honest as they are going to stay here regardless of the rating and my feelings won’t be damaged by any means)…Also, what would be a nice crisp male to cross and worth it with this little girl some yrs down the line?

Thanks in advance….
