I've been way too busy lately and haven't had the chance check the forum much, let alone reply to many posts or add much of anything of interest! It's been brutally hot and dry up here in south-central Montana. Our milk season in the field up here was virtually non-existent. I took a trip down the a local micro-brewery a few evenings ago to unwind... the temperature on a reader-board above the city showed 113*F. That's too hot.

I'd like to say that when I have been able to check in, there have been some fan-friggin'-tastic posts on here. It looks like lots of guys are having excellent seasons (Dave, Chad L., Dennis, Joe P., John F., etc.). That's pretty kick-ass to stop by and see when I've got a few minutes. Keep up the good posts, guys.

I do have about 1,500 field photos to go through from the trip Dell, Jeff, Dave, and I took down to Kansas this spring and some limited field time in my area, so I promise I'll put up a field herping post when I get time.

This season has had some ups and downs with regard to breedings, but I did manage to get a number of excellent clutches from a small portion of my collection. Here are are some of this season's locality-pure gentilis and gentilis X multistrata intergrades. As some of you may know, I've got a bit of a gentilis addiction. Some of my lines date back to stock collected zoos and research institutions in the late 1970's and 1980s. I'll do another post or two with hatchlings from various multistrata localities in the next few days.

A couple guys have asked me to get some photos up here on the forum. Unfortunately, today's heat cut my photo session short and seriously limited the areas I could safely photograph these little buggers. I called it quits when the ambient temperature hit 90 degrees.
