Male Boas are FULLY adult at 4'. They fair better long term at this smaller size. As such, they don't need a monstrous tub to thrive. A 32 quart tub is perfect for this size. I never raise a male past 5'. Some people just can't resist feeding their males every time they feed their females. That will result in the need for those much larger enclosures, higher feeding expenses, higher housing expenses, requires more total cage space, more labor and those males that are potentially too large to breed some smaller or younger females. Breeding a smaller male to a BIG female is never an issue though.

Food for thought.
