Charlie, thank you so much for such an in depth and thorough critique! You made some really good points & suggestions, and have given me a lot to think about.
I do have a concern regarding the logo. As it stands, I have a small logo on the back just under the collar (no web address, just logo). It would be cheaper for me to do like you suggested and put it on the front... though I am having a hard time figuring out how to do it without making it seem too busy. Maybe I'm being too anal about it, but having such a simple design and then cramming my logo somewhere above, below, or beside it just doesn't look right to me. I did try a quick experiment using the reverse image and logo placement as you suggested, and it does look better than some other placements I've tried... but still not sure how I like it.
I will play around with the logo to see if I can get it somewhere on the front without it looking strange or too busy. The point of this shirt, though, was more for a neat snake shirt with a species you don't see too often on shirts and less for blatant advertising. I use this line design on my banner, car, biz cards, so those who know who I am may recognize it. I do have another design that screams my biz, if people want to be less subtle about their support, lol!
Thank you again for your reply! ----- Aubrey Ross
