Eclipse boa was the best name that I could come up with, and I feel it does a good job describing the Leopard Colombian Motley. Believe me, it wasn't easy to come up with a name, and I know it will not please everyone! As for naming new morphs, in my very humble opinion I think it is a necessary evil. Multiple genes in a boa (or a ball) almost necessitates a "new" name, especially as more and more genes are combined into one animal. I felt 3 names for one boa was too much, and it only was going to get worse as more genes are added down the road. A Leopard Colombian Motley Sunglow would be even more of a mouthful for example. So, maybe a Sunglow Eclipse could be called a Solar Eclipse, a Moonglow Eclipse could be called a Lunar Eclipse, etc. Of course, these are only suggestions...
Thanks for taking a look at the pics, and all feedback (good or bad) is always welcomed!
