First off... Killer looking boa.
Second... I haven't posted in a while, and I DO NOT want to come across as a "hater" in posting my thoughts here.

Why a new name at all?

It is 2 morphs in one, no different that a Salmon Jungle, Hypo Motley or Jungle Motley... Hypo Arabesque.

Seems to be that Motley Leopard or Leopard Motley fits fine.

My thinking is that the Leopard pattern and contrast is soooo variable that not all Leopard Motleys may come out looking like yours. Combined with the little variables in the motley pattern, like long stripes, the banded look, the hexagon pattern and the goofy reverse patterned (or colored ones) yours could be one of only a few now and again with the "blacked out" look. Leaving other "Eclipse" not so "blacked out.

Another thing to think about is that the Leopard morph still links back to the Sonoran, so the Colombian part could be a touchy subject to some people.

Again, just my thoughts...

Congrats Kevin, on producing such a gem! Regardless of the official name, it is still among coolest boas produced IMO.

Have a good one.
