I'll assume you are talking about lack of sales and price drops. If that's the case, thats why I have always said to keep what you like. I see so many people concerned about prices, and they ask questions about what genes can make the most for their money.

Completely wrong things to be concerned about. How about you just find an animal or set of genes that really strike you as AWESOME, then enjoy them. who cares about where the price goes?

I know a lot of people sell snakes for a living, so I understand their concern about price drops. I'm fortunate enough to say that I do snakes for fun, it's strictly hobby for me and I do not rely on boas to pay the bills. I can say I truely do it for enjoyment.

That being said, I actually enjoy the boas. I pick genes that I like the best, and those are the ones that I work with and breed. I try to make cool things that will be cool and look awesome. Meanwhile, Im not so concerned with what's going to sell.

I don't want to see the market drop any more than anybody else, I know a lot of people rely on it. But the reality of the situation is, with the economy the way it is when considering supply/demand, price drops are inevitable.

So the main question always seems to be, "what should I buy and what will hold it's value the longest?"

I think a better question people should start asking is "what do I actually like and want to work with?" This question will take you much further in the long run

This may have been way off topic, just my 2 cents.

Tony
