Yep, you are correct Terry. His offspring is more red and a little more yellow too. I didn't really notice those slight differences until you pointed it out...it's amazing how much Hondos change with age. Some change so much, you could hardly recognize them as an adult!
I always try to get neonate pics, sub-adult and adult pics for my records...it might prove useful one day in the future.
I think that first one is the lightest one of the clutch, the last one has the nicest uniform banding and the middle one seems to be the biggest. I'll post a group shot of them once they eat and I get them sexed.
