So about a year ago after my iguana passed after a mourning period I decided to try something different and bought a ball python, my first snake. I've always been a reptile person, but used to think when younger that snakes were stupid and didn't understand why someone would want one. I quickly fell in love though and my baby ball python, now a four foot female named Super King, earned a special place in my heart.



I decided to go to a local reptile show recently and see if they had any good deals on ball pythons, as I am interested in possibly trying my hand at breeding, with an eye towards grabbing a male morph cheap. Lo and behold, I find a snake labeled Pinstripe, Male for $100. I had never heard of them before, and after a quick check on my iphone to get an idea of whether or not $100 was a good price I decided it was worth it.



Fast forward to now, I've looked around a bunch and come to the tentative conclusion that $100 is in fact extremely cheap for a pinstripe. Prices seem to range from $200-400 as far as I can tell. Given that pinstripe and spider look quite similar and I am by no means an expert, I was hoping you all might take a look at my acquisition and tell me whether I indeed got a pinstripe or whether it was in fact a mislabeled spider. As far as I can tell it looks a lot more like pinstripe, but the price is making me skeptical and I'd like to be sure, since if I breed it and then pass on the babies I don't want to misrepresent what I have.
