I was merely illustrating what I meant by solid, black lines whet I introduced this post. By all means there are many different lines of piebalds selectively brought in from Africa, etc. So, obviously all het pieds don’t carry this trait that has melted through the genetic line. If this were the case you would have no such thing as a 50% het. What I am saying is that if you select a 50% het that possesses this trait you are in most instances buying a 100%. It would be advantageous for YOU Eric (Phi) to find a pair that does carry this trait so you are guaranteed to be breeding from a different genetic pool.
And to Thundereyes “You will hear a lot of conflicting arguments about topics. It is best to just take them with open mind and it is truly best to go with what you believe.”
Good Luck!
