I have him and one more BP in a 40gallon tank with pine bedding. The heat during the day is about 85-87 with a 90-93 hot spot. There's an under tank heat pad on one side. Humidity is kept at a steady 50%. There's three hides in this tank with one on the heat pad and two on the other side. There's vines for them to climb throughout the tank too. I feed my BPs once a week but just recently started feeding 2 times because the local pet stores shipment of mice this time are half the size of the usual feeders.

I can't think of anything sharp that would cause him to cut himself. Sometimes the bedding gets lifted up under the warm hide. Ill put more bedding down there. My hides are one half log, one of those hamster houses (larger ones), and an exo terra hide.
