I love how the first inch of pattern resembles a superconda. Just a little extra to drive you crazy, right?
Actually, the first wave of Anacondas that Brent sold to all of us also had a patternless neck which caused many to believe that a patternless neck was one of several markers to determine an Anaconda. Over the years and after many outcrossed breedings, the patternless neck marker has been disproven as a lot of "low key" (meaning more pattern than less pattern) Anacondas do in fact have patterned necks. Being that I got Twix directly from Brent, it actually doesn't surprise me that my Pink Anacondas exhibit this trait but I believe with further breedings that this "trait" could disappear and patterns will eventually emerge in F2s and later generations. But yes, it drives me crazy anyways because now it makes me want to produce a Super so bad just knowing that it's going to be an awesome addition to the Superconda lineage!!!
Thanks Lindsay! ----- Troy Rexroth
