Great looking project, and thanks for the good pics of the proven animals, my only complaint would have been the lack of a comparison shot to be able to gauge the color subtlety better, but you even included that in a follow up post.

Not every morph can have a super dramatic heterozygous form, recessives have none at all, and yes all of the early dominant, and even co-dominants were much easier to pick out than the subtle ones to come along later, that's why they came along later, they were harder to identify in their het. form.

Not everything can be a banana, champagne, etc and show a dramatic het form, and I have to say that even with just the first posts pics (no comparison to normal) that it was very easy for me to pick out the traits that mark it as different, and spot them in each generation that was identified as being the morph.

IMO way more obvious than plenty of mediocre yellow-bellies, fires, cinnamons, pastels, etc.

Great project, and here's hoping for a dramatic super(homozygous) and lots of exciting combos!
