I got a real nice group together and tried for about three years to breed them. They would breed every year but the females never took. I lost interest and sold them all. I took one adult female in on a debt that was owed to me a few years later and figured I would give it one more shot. I tried to find a red male or atleast a colored one worthy of my red female but it was a tough find at that time. I found one wild caught male that had been in for 8 mos., treated and established so I went for it. They successfully bred that same year. That was last year and they did it again for me this season. I came across another nice pair of colored, captive bred adults so I now am hopeful on two breeding pairs for next season. | ||
