Hi.
I used to have a much larger collection than I do now, mostly lizards (75% of my collection maybe?), various garters and BPs, a random colubrid here and there, one boa, toads and an aquatic turtle, aquatic frogs, many tropical fish. I had to give it up for a few years.
Anyway, we have two expos coming up around here in the next couple months and I wanted some ideas as I'm finally in the position to start a long-term collection. I'm mainly into hogs now, got a half dozen, but want to branch out (not like there will be any females there anyway). No more garters or lizards for me though. Also, I'd like to keep it small. (A big kingsnake is probably my limit at the moment)
Of course there will be a million and one ball pythons and corns there, may pick up one nice morph of each for nostalgia reasons.
So, if there is a snake you would recommend I'd appreciate it. Anything goes really, and I don't mind bites.
Sorry if this is scatterbrained and in the wrong forum but I find hognose keepers are of great character and taste, who better to ask.
(On topic, my picky girl is currently face-to-face with her fuzzy, staring it down. She loves to hover over her food. I think she's waiting for munchkins to break into song and tell her it's 100% undeniably dead before she wastes a tongue flick on it.)
