temps?...too hot or too cold...they will soak...and air temp and surface temps differ alot...

balls actually do like it fairly humid....

as mentioned...pepper in the bowl....

hide....maybe it wants to hide and does not like the other ball?...is there room for two?...is there a second hide?...cool hide and warm hide....they hide all day....

sexes???....both males ? one will try and hide....both female...no problem...male and female...she may take over hide or he may?...could go either way, yes it should be a shared deal...but like people...all snakes don't get along...maybe scared?...or were they always together?...
