All you have shown is clutch after clutch of aborted nesting attempts.
When the eggs are scattered all over like that, its not nesting, its dropping the eggs as they start to die inside the female.
In nature, snakes nest like birds. They make a nest, lay their eggs inside the nest and cover the entrance or the eggs, then leave. Each species seeks certain materials and places they inherently know it right.
When they do that, they lay the eggs quickly, neatly, and loss every little weight. Cover the eggs and go again, if they have the energy. The faster they deposit the eggs, the less stress on the female and which means more energy to reproduce again. Thanks and best wishes.
