You use this line alot to justify the war. Please tell me why you didn't go and get him many many years ago if you knew he was soo evil, yes the first war ended but you didn't get him or his evil sons.



ANSWER: the first war, like i have said in the past on here, was not about the evil tyrant being taken out of power it was about stopping him from invading Kuwait, and we did. You see the thing is for as long as I have been in the military Saddam has been a threat to the peace and stability of the world, and the Middle East, by yes harboring terrorist, and by commiting such evil crimes, and acts of torture. Everytime this man decided to try something we shut him down and spent billions doing it everytime, this time it is for good.



If you really cared about the people over there I think you would have gone back alot sooner, and why oh why did you have to wait for the WMD to come up, as you obviousley didn't need this reason in the first place. You use the fact that sadam is an evil man, torturing and murdering his citizens, but that is infact deffinitly not the reason that you went over there, and you continue to use it in your favor when it comes to telling us what you are doing there.



Answer: it wasnt a matter of going back and getting him, it is a matter of having a Pres. who had the guts to do it. Think about, bare with me for a sec, imagine that the day Saddam took power didnt happen and it went to someone else like a Shiite Muslim tribal leader, or a Kurdish tribal leader. Do you honestly think that Iraq would be in the turmoil it is now? There have been reports that Saddam was evil all his life, and why change when he got power? As far as using it in our favor, the US is funding the war and has been from the start, we dont have to tell the world why we are over there, it is just a nicety on our part.





This seems to make me ask what was the true reason for going, if it is to deffend the USA then I would rather hear that and not hear the other stuff, and if there are no WMD found which is a fact right now, then you should leave, but I think you have gotten into something that is hard for you to get out of without a good reason.



Answer: well again, it was a place that harbored terrorism, just like Syria, not only al qaeda but the Hammas and the other muslim terrorsit group, name slipped my mind right now. These two groups have close ties with UBL, and other groups that have cells in the US and abroad. HMMMMM does anyone remember how they found out that the war convention in the Phillipines was going to happen? By documents found in one of Saddams palaces. No it is not hard to get out of it, and the WMD was only part of the reason the main one REGIME CHANGE, wich in turn has not happened yet, and WHEN it does happen and the Ieraqi people can govern themselves then they will. That is the ultimate goal of the uited states, not a middle eastern democracy, although would be nice, but a country of official electd by the people for the people, be it Muslim, Jewish or christian.



I know this is alot for you too grasp, and i really do wish i could tell you more about what is going on here but i just cant. Well i hope this explained my opinion to you and i really hope i didnt insult you in anyway. and do nto try to turn this into a grammar session cause i really dont care if there are gramatical or spelling mistakes in here, i have been up over 36 hours and i am going to bed
