I paired up my Anaconda 50% Het Amel to my Axanthic (out-crossed from the BHB and NY Axanthic lines) 66% Het Amel this year.

Male (neonate pic):

Female (neonate pic):

The Pair:

I started off with 9 good looking eggs, but 3 eggs went bad.

They started pipping right on schedule, 64 days.

Out of the 6 eggs, 5 were NORMAL and the only Conda was slightly deformed. DAMN!
I guess I could still get an Amel in the next clutch, but my hopes for that have been lowered.

The 5 healthy neonates from this one are all very good looking and I'm impressed at the subtle color variety.

All their bellies look very similar:

The camera flash washes out some of the color, so this shot shows what they look like in natural light.

I can't wait for the next 13 eggs to hatch from the same pairing. The are due in about 24 days...I'm really hoping to produce some Condas in the next clutch.

Hope you enjoy the photographs.
