Posted by: jimfmcdonald at Sun Oct 12 00:16:56 2003 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by jimfmcdonald ] I bought one from Steve as well a few years ago, and I am sure he will tell you all you need to know , and he wont sell you a snake that is not alredy feeding on pinkie mice ! if you do get one that is feeding on pinkie mice dont go backwards!! if the snake does not eat just give it more time and it will eat . if it still does not eat after a few weeks then call or email Steve or me and we will let you know what to do next. to meny people think there snakes are going to die if they dont eat for a week or two . dont play there game ! give them time to really want to eat something. and as for me I keep all of mine just the same as I do most of my kings, corns, milks, mandarins, and some others all on pine shavings with a water bowl. temps from 73 to 84 degrees . with no extra humidity other than when they are about to shed. and I have had better results with breeding my tri-hogs then ant other snakes I have. good luck.
