Hey Jonathan,
We coined the name. The Lava line tigers and tiger albinos are the result of crossing shanklin line albinos with Brad Chambers line reds. 3 seasons of selective breeding later, we have the Lava line.

Also, this tiger line is very reliably reproduced. Ouf findings so far is when you breed tiger to normal, roughly 50% of the clutch comes out extremely tiger banded and the other half range from normal, twin spotted, and even slightly tigerish. When we breed tiger to tiger from the lava line, 100% of the clutch is extremely tiger banded. No one else has done the amount of work with the tiger gene as we have. It can be a dominant trait or it can be a line bred trait that has just gotten that stong with the amount of work we have done with it. Need another season of test breeding to say either way. One of the reasons why none are for sale yet.
