How can you be sure it's exactly the same? If the new line is also called Trick that's an implied warranty that it's equal and maybe the new line is worse or better in some way or even if identical looking and acting it could be a different gene and the combined "super" might not be homozygous. Even once the super is made from combining the lines and if it's breeding proves both lines are mutations at the same locus it could still turn out that they are slightly different mutations, like say mystic and Mojave (different alleles of the blue eyed leucistic gene). Basically I think it's way too early to guarantee that Hurricane = Trick even if that does seem likely. | ||
