Bee question

This bumble bee was produced by me with a really nice pastel and a spider. I always just assumed it was a good looking bee but every time I see other bees, I wonder if he is something more. His lack of pattern on the head and bright yellow coloration make him a keeper in the breeding projects. This year he was bred to a firefly and the eggs are due to hatch any day.
