Today while I was driving I saw a turtle, a yellow belly I believe, crossing a busy road, so I slammed on the brakes nearly killing about 20 people, ran across the street almost getting killed and picked the bugger up and ran back to the car. Well, since I was going away from home, I transplanted the turt to another lake, but then I noticed some sores on her underside, most likely from crawling over hot pavement. I believe she was preggers because she was rather bloated on her backside like eggs were ready to pop out. Last time I saw a preg turtle thats what it looked like... Well, at the lake, she dove right in and left... then about 10 minutes later surfaced near shore on a branch with a few other basking turtles....
Pretty neat I think...
