THANX! I use half ZOO-MED eco earth(coconut husk junk) and half ESU JUNGLE MIX. It is, in my opinion, VERY VERY easy to keep clean, considering half of it is dirt. It holds humidity like nothing else. I put about 6" (approximately 3 blocks of
eco earth, and about 2 med bags of jungle mix-my tank is 75 gallons), mix it till it clumps but doesn's drip, and I don't have to worry about misting my tank for up to a month! I love it, and it works in my case. If you only use about 3 inches or less of it, it seems to dry out. Also, you cna't feed the snaklings on it. Poop scooping is a breeze, and my tank always smells like a forest(which is a good smell). Anyways, here is my the signature I started off with, hope it worksfor you!!!
