Use tweezers at all times when holding the pink. Hogs use their nose to decide whether it's a worth while meal, so limiting smells helps. You may have to blend the toads using a blender with just a base of filtered water. Then dip the pink in the toad mixture. Put a live toad in the hogs cage. When the hog starts for it, remove the live toad and place the scented pink and turn out all lights and leave the room for at least 3 hours. It takes a ton of experience, patience, willingness to release the hog when things do not work out. E. Hogs are one of the more difficult snakes to keep in captivity, much less switch to rodents. Oh yeah, make sure the hog uses its hide box, and does not run the cage. If they are not happy in captivity, it is best to just return hogs to where they came. | ||
