Diffrent Microscopes !

Ok,

I have been expanding my leopard gecko collection, and may be getting into snakes, and I dont want a $500 vet bill just on check ups so ... I just bought the book " Understanding Reptile Parasites " , and I am going to be in a car for about 5 hours so i plan on reading the whole thing today ! I was wondering what type of microscope you all would recommend, and if there are no certain models, what features do you need to clearly tell diffrent parasites/parasites eggs, and coccidia and all that ? The last thing i am wondering is what floating solution do you all use ??
