I would go for an AFT. I keep one and absolutely love it. Its the best kind for me. Mine has never tried to bite, absolutely docile, calm, and so easy to handle. Their care is simple, they are nocturnal so dont require expensive uvb, can be kept in even a ten gallon tank for their whole lives, if they are housed singly. ( I keep mine in a 20 long.) They require medium levels of humidity.
