being as how there are no "frontline" conflicts here, and we (the military) is plaqued by ambushes, IEDs, and crbombs...to answer your question yes, i am in a hostile situation. the rear with the gear as you call it, is all in kuwait.



do you actually think about what you are saying? i am just curious, because you can not and never will be able to fathom what is going on over here. and yes when we first got here the Iraqis were giving us there paycheck, and they still thank us everyday. you probably sit there and think that everyone of them hates us and so on and so fourth, but plain and simple it is not true. there are saddam loyalist out there still that want us gone and utilize gurilla tactics but they are fighting in a no win situatuion.
