its ok for them not to go to the bottom too often.



they will stay near the top becuase there is the basking spot then the rest of the top is cool enough for them to hang out at. if the enitire top was warmer then the area below the plants then they will go down. Like when i sit my jacksons outside when its around 80 he is all over his potho and that is the only time he touches it...he likes it becuase it makes a cool spot for him.
