Well, I used to sit there and stare...and I'd see them eat. Now, some of mine won't eat while I'm around, so I have to see if I see little tiny poops. Other than that, it's not that easy to make sure they're eating. I never had any luck with the cup feeding...mine wouldn't get close to it, and I was having escapees. I could try it again with the CB Pygmies that I have now...hmmm...
