My new cat does the same thing... I think she's a little stressed because she used to be an outside cat. ^^ It's only been two days though, and she seems comfortable (eats well, playful and curious, very cuddly), so I think she'll quiet down with time. And even if she doesn't, I love the sound of her cute little chirps! ^_^
