Ocicats and children?????

I have a 18 month old, 15lbs, male Ocicat named Jake. He is just the best companion that a person could ask for! He is so smart, funny, affectionate, and full of personality! I am planning to start a family in the near future, and have heard that ocicats are not great with children. Does anyone know about this? I could use some help easing my concerns. Thanks! CW
