Right you are, Jaime, that's my eldest grandson, Joshua David, age 24 and the son of my deceased son, David.

*******************************************************

Oh! I feel better! I thought time had really got away from me this time! But if 'little' David is starting high school, he'll be driving his own Mustang soon! Yikes! so, does Simba always like to hang with the young, cool guys? A chance to be a dude since he is usually surrounded by females? His lion cut legs remind me of the big sheepskin boots you use to see at art festivals years and years ago - he does carry the look with some style, doesn't he?

Isn't it funny how families find a name and stick with it? I think every male in hubby's family is either a David or a Paul;if not the first name, then the middle. Made it a little confusing when I first met them all! But he gets confused with all the names that start with "E" in my family - Eno, Eleanor, Ellie, Ellen, a couple of Edwards....guess we're even.

I'm working PT for now. Its a good balance. She gets socialization for a couple hours that I can't supply at home And Mama gets socialization she can't get at home alone with a babe! We are both excited to see one another at the end of the day - sometimes playtime with mama runs into bath, book and bedtime which makes for a whiny baby!

You have far more discpline then I to be working the same place for some many years even if you get to bid for a different position every few years! What are you going to do with all your energy when its over?

Annie is the black cat. The last year or so she has grown one huge white whisker over one eye. Her version of aging I guess! As for Lizzy, I still call her color "painted by a drunk" even now that I know there is a proper name for it.

I came back to the boards after seeing a truck with plates that read "catman" drive past me one day. Just got me thinking.... One of my favorite threads was the many adventures of Baba. Remeber the 'photo' you created of Baba driving a tank? Didn't that story end with him roasting hotdogs for everyone? That Baba was always generous!

Purrs,

Elizabeth

Annie, Lizzycat and Stink
