Your vet would know best, but I have not heard of 6 weeks solid on antibiotics. Unless, the first round didn't work. Stanley has had a couple UTIs and his have cleared up with two weeks of antibiotics. If memory serves Baytril is a more powerful antibiotic... What has your vet said? Maybe others have had cats with longer UTIs...
