>>That's right, KatyKatt! Wow my memory fades as I get older! I do love that picture. Let's see. I joined on the "boards" about 9 years ago... So, I'll say she is 9 or 10... Because it seems like she has been with you since I've known you...

You're right, Tammy, 9 years old yesterday. I got Samantha, my first cat ever, in September of '98 and a new computer in early '99 when I met you on the old AOL Cat Message Boards. We were on that one for about a year. Then it seems like they were going to close the old AOL message boards so in about early 2001 we all moved over to VIN which was a lot of fun because you could post pictures. It was also around this time that some of the ladies who lived in California were complaining about 'blackouts'. I couldn't even imagine what they were talking about but this, of course, turned out to be the big Enron scandal. After VIN was closed, we all moved over to these boards. BTW, they never did close the AOL Cat Message Board like they were going to. I wonder what that was all about?

I think that Stanley and Pookey were around 2 or 3 years old when we met. And Elizabeth had Romeo, Lizzie and Annie the barncat at about that time. Rose had Timothy and a couple of others then. Lou had Babba. Tracy had 4 cats, lived in Omaha, and then she died. MA had Captain Video and the little female kitty whose name I can't think of at the moment. Debra had 4 cats and lived down south somewhere, maybe Texas. Heidi had her two girls, mother and daughter cats, one was Minnie. I know that there was more but I can't think of them right now. Oh yeah, Blackcat, and her two cats that she got 'neuticals' for. That reminds me of my niece who has two male cats, age about 5 years, who were unneutered because it would 'take away their manhood'. Karen and I both talked to her about it till we were blue in the face and she finally this last month, got both of them neutered.

I'm posting a cat age conversion chart if you want to look up your cat's ages.

Here's a couple of pictures of Paula holding poor little Katrina at about that time. Katrina comes up to Paula for loving all of the time now.
