One thing to try... They sell a litter at many major pet stores called "Cat Attract" that seems to do wonders attracting cats to the litter box that have problems going outside the box. Something to try. Have your friend use it full strength in the box at first. Should help direct the kitten to the box... The are really strongly attracted to it...



I agree with Tammy. Cat Attract cat litter is really very good. It helped me with my urinating outside of the litter box problem and now my kitty is no longer having that problem. I think that this cat litter was invented by a vet and uses herbs that have a aroma that cats like.
