While I do not have that problem with my cat Boris, my daughter's cat gets extremely aggressive when exposed to catnip. So I do know first hand that it can happen. My daughter makes sure that she gets toys minus the catnip and her cat does just fine. But when her cat gets exposed to catnip, Precious becomes a Dr. Jekyll!!
