It sounds like a you a independant kitty. She probably will never be a lap cat. But will come to snuggle on her own terms. I have a cat like that. She doesn't bit or hiss at us but screams really loudly if we pick her up. She will sneak into our room in the middle of the night to cuddle. But she never cuddles during the day time. It just depends on the cat. Have you talked to the breeder?
